​Deedra has been with New Image Weight Loss since we opened in October of 2011. She has been in the medical field for many years and has focused solely on weight loss and wellness for the last thirteen years. She is our Office Manager and is always eager to help new and established patients with any questions or concerns they have during their weight loss journey. She is married and has two grown children and one precious grandson.

Dr. Stewart is a graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He attended medical school at The University of Alabama School of Medicine and then completed a General Surgery residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital System. For fellowship training in Plastic Surgery, he was chosen to attend Tulane University in New Orleans.  Dr. Stewart is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Born in Etowah County, Dr. Griffith attended Hokes Bluff & Gadsden schools, graduating from Gadsden High School in 1957. He completed his BA at Vanderbilt University in 1961 & Vanderbilt Medical School in 1964. Internship & first year residency in Pediatrics were at Vanderbilt & 2nd year residency was at University of Kentucky. He served in the US Army attaining the rank of major for 2 years. He returned to Gadsden & founded Gadsden Pediatric Clinic with Dr. Hilmon Holley. Practicing for 36 years at Gadsden Pediatric Clinic, he retired in 2007. He has been on 25 international medical missions. He is currently the director of the Etowah Free Medical Clinic and our Physician here at New Image Weight Loss. He is an elder of Rainbow Presbyterian Church. He has been happily married for 55 years to his wife Willene & together they share 2 children & 4 grandchildren. His oldest son, Charles III (Chipper), is the vice dean of University of Kentucky Medical School. His youngest son, Christopher, is a lawyer in Etowah County. Dr. Griffith currently resides in Rainbow City.
